What should I do with the clock?

  • 1 of 11: Unlocking it would be a good idea.
  • 2 of 11: If you have used the light box under the stairs, you received two excellent clues on what to do next.
  • 3 of 11: What time is it?
  • 4 of 11: Set the clock to the time you noticed on the slides.
  • 5 of 11: Set it to 5:30.  Back up.  Watch and listen carefully.
  • 6 of 11: If the clock is set correctly, several things happen: A cuckoo will call twice; two loud bongs will sound and ...
  • 7 of 11: What was that sliding sound?  Something sounded as if it slide open (or shut) down below!
  • 8 of 11: Check downstairs in the bedroom, opening it the same way you did in part 1 of this episode.
  • 9 of 11: Do you see anything obviously different?  If not, the clock was not set properly.  Go back upstairs and try again.
  • 10 of 11: This time be sure you position the small hand -in between- the 5 and 6 on the little notch there, and that the long hand is directly centered on the 6. Again, back up, watch and listen.
  • 11 of 11: Return to the bedroom.  The rug on the floor in the corner should be pushed back exposing a hole begging for you to enter.
