What is the safe combination?

  • 1 of 10: Where is the safe?
  • 2 of 10: The girls seem to have a particular fondness for numbers, as evidenced by what is written on the blackboard.
  • 3 of 10: The combination is the total of all the money owed to the twins.
  • 4 of 10: Four people owe them money, but only three totals are written on the blackboard.
  • 5 of 10: Hannibal's total can be found in the drawer beneath the blackboard.
  • 6 of 10: Add the total owed by Tod, Gisele, and Huxley to Hannibal's 187.
  • 7 of 10: The combination is 512.
  • 8 of 10: Turn the safe dial clockwise, passing zero, and stop at 5.
  • 9 of 10: Turn the dial counter-clockwise, past 5, stopping at 1.
  • 10 of 10: Finally, turn the dial clockwise again and pass 1 to stop at 2.  The door will open.
