F.E.A.R. Extraction Point Hints
Ambush Tips
1 of 9: NOTE: As you started down the subway tunnel, you could have shot down a Replica who ran out through a closing mesh gate if you were fast enough, but doing so doesn't seem to change the nature of this ambush at all.
2 of 9: It's best to start off by opening the door, getting their attention by moving forward just a little, then retreating and closing the door again quickly.
3 of 9: This is one Replica group that isn't afraid to charge out a door to get you, so be ready for them to do that.
4 of 9: When the door opens, toss a frag grenade so that it bounces off the door and into the room beyond.
5 of 9: Then get ready for the Replicas to run out after you. It's extremely hard to finish them all off without taking any damage.
6 of 9: One strategy would be to hide on the other side of the green soda machine until they come out, then strafe out of cover just long enough to SlowMo-shoot them one at a time. (The bad part is that any grenades they throw will probably do you at least some damage.)
7 of 9: Another strategy would be to quickly run all the way down the tunnel to the stairs before the Replicas come out after you, then take cover on the stairs. Few if any of them would come all the way down to where you are, and you can SlowMo-shoot the rest while peeking around the corner.
8 of 9: After you get the ones that come out after you, be ready for one or two more to still be in the room past the door.
9 of 9: Fortunately, you can go back quite a ways through previous areas to hunt up any medkits or body armor you didn't need before to help you heal up now.
