F.E.A.R. Extraction Point Hints

How can I get across? I can't make the jump.

  • 1 of 14: Have you tried jumping across from on the rail?
  • 2 of 14: No, that doesn't work either.
  • 3 of 14: But what if the water level were higher?
  • 4 of 14: If it was high enough, you could jump onto the walkway gap's other side from in the water.
  • 5 of 14: So look around for a way to control the water level.
  • 6 of 14: You haven't passed anything so far, so drop down into the water near the walkway gap and start exploring there.
  • 7 of 14: Go around the outer wall of the room until you find a concrete tunnel with a pipe going into it.
  • 8 of 14: Go through that tunnel to find a ladder that you can climb to get to a new area.
  • 9 of 14: However, if you follow the walkway along and bash the padlock off the fence door, you'll find that you've just made a loop and are back near the room with the walkway gap again.
  • 10 of 14: Look at the other end of the walkway, back near where you climbed the ladder to leave the water.
  • 11 of 14: There's a large red valve wheel on the walkway at that end. Try using it.
  • 12 of 14: Look over the railing to see that the water level is rising!
  • 13 of 14: Go through the padlocked door and back to the walkway gap.
  • 14 of 14: The water is now high enough for you to get into it and then jump onto the walkway part on the other side of the gap.
