F.E.A.R. Extraction Point Hints

Level G3 Combat Tips

  • 1 of 15: If you don't have a rocket launcher with you, trade a weapon for the one that's in the level G4 supply area (near the ramp down).
  • 2 of 15: When you get down to the G3 floor, turn right and go forward until a Replica says, "Bring in the Power Armor."
  • 3 of 15: Immediately go into reverse and hide around the corner on the ramp.
  • 4 of 15: A weird, super-strong variation of the regular Power Armors will come crashing along from the other end of the area.
  • 5 of 15: After it kicks the yellow car (and hopefully kills a Replica or two), peek around the corner and SlowMo-rocket it once.
  • 6 of 15: Do the same after it blows up something nearby.
  • 7 of 15: After that, it may come within view of the ramp. If so, you'll need to back up the ramp quickly, strafing to avoid the thing's rockets.
  • 8 of 15: Keep rocketing it until you blow it up.
  • 9 of 15: If you run out of rockets, you can return to the roof to get some more if you didn't use all of those up. (If you left the rooftop Power Armor alive earlier, you'll have a heck of a time getting to those rocket launchers and back undamaged.)
  • 10 of 15: Hopefully, you've kept the minigun and not used up too much of its ammo, because this super-reinforced Power Armor is the absolute *most* difficult thing to destroy ever.
  • 11 of 15: One more thing you could try is setting up several prox grenades and remote bombs near the rear of the gray car that's across from the ramp bottom.
  • 12 of 15: After they're set, run over to the gray car and crouch down near the front of it. That should get the Power Armor to walk into your toasty trap!
  • 13 of 15: As soon as he does, scrunch into the tiny space between the front of the car and the wall. That way you probably won't get hit by rocket fire if the Power Armor isn't destroyed and decides to come around to your side of the car. (Plus you can probably shoot him some or frag-grenade him.)
  • 14 of 15: Or if you don't want to use all the grenades necessary for the trap, just use the car as cover and lure the Power Armor over for some serious (and mostly safe) close-range shooting. Do always save first, just in case you get hit.
  • 15 of 15: After the freak thing is *finally* dead, move down to the other end of the area to find some supplies, including several rocket launchers, which would have been real handy a minute ago.
