F.E.A.R. Extraction Point Hints

How should I handle the combats in this area?

  • 1 of 13: Move across the area toward the other side until Holiday warns you that more soldiers are coming in from the warehouse.
  • 2 of 13: When he says that, run and get behind cover quickly and let him shoot up the Replicas that appear.
  • 3 of 13: NOTE: There are a lot of explosive barrels scattered about the place. Make sure you're not hiding near any, and keep an eye out for any Replicas to come your way.
  • 4 of 13: One of the best places to take cover is near the back left corner of the area.
  • 5 of 13: When you come in from the alley, go over to the area's left side before moving toward its other end.
  • 6 of 13: When Holiday warns that soldiers will be coming up from behind you, quickly run for the back left corner, where you'll have darkness and several large containers for cover.
  • 7 of 13: NOTE: You should keep trying this run until you make it without being shot on the way. That sometimes happens, and sometimes doesn't.
  • 8 of 13: Or you might want to take cover next to the brown wooden crates that are near the back left corner. The area they're in is a bit more well-lit, so you probably won't have to use the flashlight much.
  • 9 of 13: Crouch there and wait for Replicas to come to you. They'll usually come from behind the nearby dumpster, but some may come from the other direction, too. (Listen for the sound of their footsteps.)
  • 10 of 13: Another place that might work fairly well is the cement trench that runs almost the entire width of the area.
  • 11 of 13: You'll pass right by its left end if you follow the above directions to reach the area's back left corner.
  • 12 of 13: Replicas can see you down there, but aren't likely to unless they're close enough to easily shoot down. To keep from being seen very often, crouch-walk your way to the trench's opposite end after you drop into it. (When you want to climb out, find one of the two ladders in small wall niches.)
  • 13 of 13: You'll know the area's clear when Holiday says something about how there should be an exit "one click to our six."
