F.E.A.R. Hints

Part 1 (Infiltration)

  • 1 of 24: After you're back on your feet, proceed forward to find an alley with a basement door down some steps.
  • 2 of 24: Make your way along until you get a radio message saying that your reinforcements have been redirected. Uh, oh!
  • 3 of 24: Move on through the building until you find a door leading outside to an area with a large circular (and empty) water tank in the middle of it.
  • 4 of 24: After crossing the rotated walkway, find the two ladders that you can climb down to reach a dark underground passage. (To grab ahold of a ladder, move up next to it and point at it to get the blue hand icon, then hit the Use key.)
  • 5 of 24: Make your way along the passage with your flashlight on, optionally shooting several rats for fun, until you come to a ladder next to a light.
  • 6 of 24: TIP: Before you climb the ladder, look in the alcove to the left to find a health booster on a barrel.
  • 7 of 24: As you approach the "Authorized Personnel Only" door with a bloody broken window past the top of the ladder, you'll hear Replicas in the area beyond.
  • 8 of 24: After all the Replicas are dead, look around the large room with two huge blue tanks on the lower floor for an exit.
  • 9 of 24: Past a nearby door, you'll reach an area with several Replica troops and several windows they can see you through.
  • 10 of 24: It's best to shoot one or two through a window, then retreat back through the doorway and use the old SlowMo-attack-and-retreat strategy to get them all.
  • 11 of 24: After they're all down, search around to find a medkit and spare pistol on desks, then move on until you find some supplies on a yellow container labeled "MulKeY."
  • 12 of 24: Just past that is a dark area that leads into a large room with three Replicas in it.
  • 13 of 24: Take them down with standard tactics (I like to start things off with a frag grenade), then look around for two medkits and a pistol.
  • 14 of 24: Find the ladder in the back of the large pipe room and climb it, then continue along to get to a room with a blocked door and several supplies.
  • 15 of 24: In the room past the unblocked doorway, use the laptop computer with the "Alienware" logo on its screen to learn a bit more about why Fettel and the Replicas are interested in the place. (This is optional, but interesting.)
  • 16 of 24: Continue on to find a few more supplies in side rooms and to eventually get to the doors that lead outside.
  • 17 of 24: Save your game before you go outside, then go out far enough to get a couple of Replicas to show themselves. Shoot them down in SlowMo, then retreat back inside and see how many come to you.
  • 18 of 24: After you finish them off, search around in their large outdoor area to find some body armor and assault rifles (some of which are inside a small control shack), then find the stairs in the back of the area that lead up to a walkway with an open door.
  • 19 of 24: As you make your way through the building, you'll reach a railing next to a room full of water.
  • 20 of 24: Since there's no other way to continue, jump over the railing and swim over to a ladder that you can use to climb up onto the room's walkway.
  • 21 of 24: A ways past that is a room with some stairs to climb up (and a medkit on a wall in a corner to grab), followed shortly by another ladder to climb down.
  • 22 of 24: After you get hit by a bright flash of light and another creepy vision of that horrid little girl, find the large square hole in the floor that you can drop through to land in some more water.
  • 23 of 24: You'll then get zapped into another creepy "visionscape."
  • 24 of 24: Move along toward the vision's doors to end the vision and move on to Part 2 of this objective.
