How can I get up to those walkways?

  • 1 of 19: After you go through the door that has a large window to the left of it (where the last batch of Replicas attacked), move on to the room with the large spewing gas valve over on the right.
  • 2 of 19: You've now entered a big and twisty portion of the building that's very confusing to navigate. The following directions tell what I think is the best way to get to where you're going.
  • 3 of 19: In the room with the leaky gas valve, don't go up the stairs -- instead, find the narrow passageway in the back corner of the room and follow it along.
  • 4 of 19: You'll soon reach a room with a ladder you can climb up to a walkway.
  • 5 of 19: Move to the end of the walkway and jump over the railing to get onto some large pipes.
  • 6 of 19: Bash the large grate covering at one end of the pipes and enter the crawlspace beyond.
  • 7 of 19: Ignore the bashable grate you come across on your left, since going through it will just drop you down to where you started this little excursion.
  • 8 of 19: Instead, move on in the crawlway until you come to a spot where you have to hop up to a higher level.
  • 9 of 19: Soon after that, you'll find a grate to bash that will allow you get onto some more large pipes.
  • 10 of 19: Go along them and then a small ledge to find an opening with a dead guy in it that you can go through to find a penetrator gun and your first two remote bombs.
  • 11 of 19: When you're through there, jump up onto the large curving vent shaft and then onto a nearby large pipe.
  • 12 of 19: The pipe will take you to a ledge where you can find a reflex booster near a drop-off into a large room full of water treatment tanks.
  • 13 of 19: As you pick up the booster, you'll hear Replica radio chatter.
  • 14 of 19: Look out into the treatment tank room ahead and over to the right to see the doorway that three of them are going to be coming out of.
  • 15 of 19: As soon as all three are in sight, turn on SlowMo and blast them with the assault rifle or sub-machinegun. Easy kills!
  • 16 of 19: After you drop down into the large treatment tank room, grab the nearby medkit if you need it and leave through the door that the Replicas you just shot down came in through.
  • 17 of 19: NOTE: You could explore further in the tank room and go down some other passages beyond it to find some extra supplies and a few Replicas you don't need to fight, but it's probably not worth the bother.
  • 18 of 19: The next door you come to leads to a small catwalk with a medkit you can grab.
  • 19 of 19: Further along, you'll *finally* come to the walkway above the room with the dead guy in a chair. Whew!
