I hear Replica radio chatter. How should I handle this obvious ambush?

  • 1 of 14: As you move into the area, keep looking to the right.
  • 2 of 14: You see that room with the bright light on the wall that's up past the stairs on the walkway?
  • 3 of 14: That's where the Replicas will start appearing as you move around near the second large cylindrical tank.
  • 4 of 14: You could use SlowMo and start shooting them the moment they appear, but they'll be tossing grenades at you, so it's really best to quickly retreat back to the hall you came down and wait for them to come to you. (Or peek around the corner and take quick shots at them.)
  • 5 of 14: TIP: There are several yellow exploding barrels in the room, including up on the walkway. You could shoot them while a Replica is near to blow them up.
  • 6 of 14: When you're sure the current batch of Replicas are all dead, move into the room and find the stairs that lead up onto the walkway.
  • 7 of 14: As you move onto the first walkway segment, a Heavy Armor will burst through the doors that are ahead of you and up on a higher floor.
  • 8 of 14: One thing you could do is immediately initiate SlowMo and throw three or four frag grenades at the Heavy Armor as fast as you can. That would badly damage him and probably kill the Replica troops who come in with him.
  • 9 of 14: You could then hide behind cover nearby and rush the Heavy Armor with the shotgun after your SlowMo meter gets some charge back.
  • 10 of 14: A safer thing to do is to go slowly along the catwalk backwards and then quickly run down the stairs and past the two large cylindrical tanks as soon as you hear the Heavy Armor break through the door.
  • 11 of 14: You may take some fire from the Replica troops as you run from the tanks to the hallway, so you might want to go into SlowMo and shoot the troops now rather than wait for them in the hallway.
  • 12 of 14: As for the Heavy Armor, he may approach your hallway, but he'll usually stay up on the lower walkway and try to take cover behind a large crate up there.
  • 13 of 14: If so, you can toss grenades at him or maneuver around on the floor and shoot him with the shotgun, ducking under the walkways for cover.
  • 14 of 14: Once the Heavy One and his support are all dead, you can relax and search the area for medkits.
