F.E.A.R. Hints

How can I get outside and get those guys?

  • 1 of 11: The nearby small room only has some supplies in it, and the room a bit further on has no apparent exits.
  • 2 of 11: But it does have a nice big window that you can see some supplies on the other side of.
  • 3 of 11: Break the window and then jump through it.
  • 4 of 11: Pick up the nearby supplies if you need them now, then move forward and peek around the corner.
  • 5 of 11: A truck will drive up and let off a Heavy Armor plus even more Replicas!
  • 6 of 11: As soon as the Heavy's in sight, initiate SlowMo and Zoom mode and hit it with the ASP rifle or assault rifle as many times as you can before you have to retreat back into your alley.
  • 7 of 11: Try not to run out of SlowMo time right off, since several Replicas will boldly assault you in your alley, and you'll need SlowMo to help you take them down with a minimum of injury (to yourself, that is).
  • 8 of 11: TIP: This might be a good time to put your prox grenades and remote bombs to good use.
  • 9 of 11: Like most Heavy Armors, this one is slow and will be in no rush to get to you, so you can first concentrate on taking down all the troops who come after you.
  • 10 of 11: When only the Heavy Armor remains, wait until your SlowMo meter is full, then approach him using cover.
  • 11 of 11: When you're fairly close, get the shotgun out and shoot him in the faceplate over and over with SlowMo on until he falls over dead. (Or use the penetrator on him from a distance if you have that instead of the shotgun.)
