F.E.A.R. Hints
Heavy Armors
First Seen: Interval 03, Heavy Resistance
These Replicas are inside a very thick and tough suit of armor and usually have some of the most powerful weapons, such as the HV penetrator and Type-7 particle weapon. All that armor makes them bigger and slower targets, but they often crouch to maximize their protection, and they sometimes have ordinary Replica troops to use as a distraction while they move in for the kill.
TIP: If you don't have something like a rocket launcher to use from a distance, then activate SlowMo and move in with the shotgun. Several shots to the faceplate (marked by four blue optic portals) will take down a Heavy Armor fairly quickly.
