F.E.A.R. Hints

How can I possibly survive this fight?

  • 1 of 7: When you reach the ground, move to where you can see down to the other end of the courtyard.
  • 2 of 7: As soon as you see the Power Armor, initiate SlowMo and start hammering it with rockets, particle beams, or whatever.
  • 3 of 7: When you're about to run out of SlowMo time (or are about to get hit by rockets), get under cover and let your meter regenerate.
  • 4 of 7: TIP: The corner over to the right of the steps leading down makes great cover.
  • 5 of 7: The Power Armor won't try to come up the steps, so as long as you're in good cover, you can take him down by letting your SlowMo meter recharge, quickly attacking him in SlowMo mode until he starts firing back, and then getting back to cover and letting your meter recharge again. Repeat until done.
  • 6 of 7: ALTERNATIVE: You could carefully toss five prox grenades and/or remote bombs so they land at the bottom of the steps while staying under cover, then lure the Power Armor to its doom, but this is hard to do just right (especially since the Power Armor's rocket fire may set them off too early).
  • 7 of 7: None of the Replicas down at the other end of the courtyard will help the Power Armor attack, so after you finish it off, you can sneak slowly down to the other end and pick of the Replicas one by one in SlowMo mode (making sure that the one with particle weapon doesn't hit you even once).
