F.E.A.R. Hints
Expose and destroy reactor cells to sabotage energy pylons
of 13: You can't do anything to the energy pylons or their reactor cells from where you are.
of 13: Go along the room's walkway to find a lift in a dark corner.
of 13: At the top of the lift, move along the walkway until you reach a small platform with a control panel.
of 13: TIP: There's a sub-machinegun on a large crate near the control platform that you can pick up. It's much better than the pistol or the repeating cannon for shooting swarms of Nightmares.
of 13: Use the blue "activate" button on the control panel to cause the reactor cells at the top of each blue energy column to become exposed.
of 13: Shoot out the cells (the things with the small red vertical lines on them) with any weapon, even the pistol. Just one shot per cell will do it.
of 13: The area is plunged into darkness due to the sudden huge power loss, so turn on your flashlight before you turn around and start back.
of 13: The door near the control platform is now open, so go through it.
of 13: In the large room past the door, use the sub-machinegun to quickly shoot all the Nightmares that appear and try to swarm you as soon as you step onto the metal walkway.
of 13: One part of the walkway leads to a spare repeating cannon, and the other part continues on the way you need to go.
of 13: TIP: After you cross a metal walkway further on and see a vision of Alma, look to the left for a spare sub-machinegun before moving on to the right.
of 13: The next room has one of those upward-slanting lifts that you can take to get to a Vault exit door.
of 13: Shoot a few more Nightmares that appear on the large walkway, then go through the big "02" door and ride the little lift platform up and into Interval 11 - Retaliation.
