Section 4: Laser-Toting Replica

  • 1 of 8: Drop down to the safe dirt on the other side of the subway car, then jump onto the floor ahead.
  • 2 of 8: Head down to the other end of the floor and through a doorway in a fence to get another checkpoint save.
  • 3 of 8: Go over to the electrical box with the big interactive switch on it, and use the switch to shut off the electricity.
  • 4 of 8: Immediately take cover in the alcove next to the electrical box, since some Replicas will appear on the tracks ahead, and one of them is wielding a laser weapon. Like the hammerhead nailgun, it can penetrate armor and affect your health directly. In fact, it *completely* bypasses armor and does all of its damage to your health!
  • 5 of 8: The best way to toast them is to peek out and fire off a quick burst from the pulse weapon. That should fry the laser guy and at least one other Replica, leaving at most one Replica to shoot down by other means.
  • 6 of 8: If you can't do that, toss a shock grenade so that it'll paralyze the laser guy, then SlowMo-shoot him in the head with an assault rifle, hammerhead, or whatever.
  • 7 of 8: Drop down and swap some weapon (the pulse weapon, if you've used up most or all of its ammo) for the laser, then notice that there's another laser on the nearby median, next to a case with an incendiary grenade in it. You won't be able to take it, though, since your laser came with full ammo.
  • 8 of 8: Move down the tracks past that point to get a checkpoint save and move on to Section 5: Leaving the Waterlogged Tracks.
