F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin Hints
A Note About the Hints
F.E.A.R. 2 is organized into fourteen different missions, each of which is divided up into two or more objectives. There's also the concept of missions being grouped into intervals, but those weren't used in organizing these hints (especially since intervals sometimes start in the middle of missions). Below this note section are fourteen hint sections, one for each of the missions. Within each mission's hint section is a list of all of the objectives that you can have on your PDA's objective list at some point during that mission, in the order that you get them.
If you're needing hints and aren't sure what mission you're on, check your PDA's objective list to see what's on it, then check each mission's objective list in this hint file (starting with Sanctuary) until you find a match. There are a few objectives that carry over from one mission to another, but you should have little trouble finding what mission you're on. Once you do, check the hints for the objective you're currently working on. If you have more than one uncompleted objective, start by checking the hints for the one that's lowest on the list.
Most objectives are fairly long, and their hints are divided up into sections based on the checkpoint save system. Every time you reach a spot where the game pauses and gives you the "Saving content. Please don't turn off your computer," message near the top left corner of the screen, you've gotten a checkpoint save. The hints for the section you were in will say so, and will point you to the next section. Each section has a number and a name that I made up, the idea being that the name is descriptive enough that you can quickly figure out what section you're in without having to read through any of them first.
