F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin Hints
General Remnant Combat Tips
of 8: These shambling freaks are fairly fast and have a tremendous amount of health, so you won't be able to finish them off quickly.
of 8: Worse yet, they can "resurrect" any dead people nearby to attack you for them.
of 8: The resurrected helpers are very bad shots and can be "killed" very easily, but there are usually a bunch of them around to deal with. Also, the remnant can re-resurrect them after you kill them the first time.
of 8: If you want to take the remnant down as fast as possible, get close to it, initiate SlowMo mode, and blast it in the head with a shotgun over and over.
of 8: You probably can't kill it in just one SlowMo usage, so hang back and shoot down its resurrected helpers until SlowMo recharges and you can do it again.
of 8: The remnant will often issue a disorienting scream when you get close. However, it only hurts a little bit, and it can't really spoil your aim.
of 8: A similar effect happens when the remnant dies, so you might want to keep your distance and shoot it with an SMG or assault rifle instead of closing to a shotgun's best range.
of 8: Note that when a remnant dies, all of his resurrected helpers instantly re-die, so that's another reason to focus on the remnant during the combat.
