F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin Hints

Section 5: Gas Leak

  • 1 of 10: Move forward to witness a gas leak ignite ahead, then turn right.
  • 2 of 10: Absorb a few more specters as you go around to where the gas leak is.
  • 3 of 10: Approaching it will get you the "Find a valve to shut off the gas leak" objective.
  • 4 of 10: After that's done, go back to the open fence door you came in through.
  • 5 of 10: Specters will shut it and knock some junk in front of it to prevent you from re-opening it.
  • 6 of 10: Even though the gas leak has stopped, there's still a flaming desk in your way.
  • 7 of 10: Move up close to it and hit the Use key to kick it out of the way.
  • 8 of 10: Drop down after it, being careful not to get too close to it, which would set you on fire briefly.
  • 9 of 10: Go up the stairs slowly to avoid a flame burst from the incinerator ahead, then go through the room to find an EXIT doorway in the back.
  • 10 of 10: Go right past the EXIT doorway to find an armor vest on a barrel and two prox mines in a small alcove, then go the other way to get a checkpoint save and move on to Section 6: Catching an Elevator.
