The Feeble Files Hints
How do I make a Passive Control thingy?
of 15: Well, you need chemicals.
of 15: Use Filbert's chemistry set in the corner.
of 15: First of all, you need to work out which chemical is which by testing them. If you get a brown solution, ignore it as it is an unusable chemical.
of 15: You know that solutions D+E+A with a cold mix give solution B, so try mixing three different colours until you get a result which is the same colour as one in the flasks.
of 15: You should find that red+green+blue gives yellow, which tells you that solution B is yellow.
of 15: It also tells you that C is magenta, the remaining colour.
of 15: Now you can find A, by heating B and C with another colour, until you get a light grey solution (F).
of 15: Now you know that A is red, B is yellow, and C is magenta.
of 15: To find D and E you must see which yields K and L.
of 15: Take one of the colours, heat it with A+B. This will give you either G (ABD) or I (ABE).
of 15: Then mix the same colour with B+C, giving you H (BCE) or J (BCD).
of 15: Heat the last two solutions with F (the light grey one). If you don't get a brown solution, then you know this is L (J+G+F), which means the colour you tested is D, and the other remaining one is E. If you get a brown one, then the opposite result holds.
of 15: Now you need three solutions which hold the chemicals in the proportion A:2, B:3, C:2, D:1, E:1.
of 15: Such as F (ABC), I (ABE) and J (BCD).
of 15: When you mix these three solutions without heat, you will get the Passive Control Compound, which is added to your inventory.
