Final Fantasy VII Hints
I need help with this clock!
1 of 8: Okay, here's how it works:
2 of 8: If you press the O button, the hour and minute hands move around very quickly.
3 of 8: Even when you press O again to stop the hands, they'll both move three more spaces in the direction they were traveleing.
4 of 8: If you press Triangle, you're given two options: one in blue and one in green.
5 of 8: If you press blue, you get four more options: a blue one, a green one, a red one, and a white one. The blue option moves the hour hand by one space. The green option moves the hour hand ahead by seven spaces. The red option moves the hour hand ahead by seventeen spaces and the minute hand by at least one space. The white option does nothing.
6 of 8: If you press green, you get four more options: a blue one, a green one, a red one, and a white one. The blue option moves the hour hand back by two spaces. The green option moves the hour hand back by ten spaces and sets the minute hand back by one. The red option moves the hour hand back by twenty spaces and the minute hand by at least one space. The white option does nothing.
7 of 8: If you press the X button, the clock shuts up and you're free to move onto the hands of the clock, providing you've aligned them properly. You can only walk on the hour and minute hands of the clock. If you are standing on one of the hands and the second hand comes by, it can knock you off into a cavern below.
8 of 8: You walk along the hands towards twelve passages. Keep reading for a list of what the twelve passages lead to: I-When you open the chest, you'll be attacked by monsters. You won't get anything for beating them, either. II-This passage is blocked off by rocks. You can't do anything here, so return and pick another path. III-A treasure chest is here, and it contains monsters. You won't get anything for defeating them. IV-There's another chest here, and Aeris's Ultimate Weapon, the Princess Guard, is inside it. V-This passage leads outside to the gold chest you could see but not normally reach. Inside it is a Ribbon. VI-This is the passage you want to go through to find Sephiroth.
VII-There's a chest here. A weapon for Cait Sith is inside it. VIII-You can get an Elixir from the chest in this room. IX-A passage is blocked by fallen rock. X-This is the passage you came in from before. XI-Another passage blocked by fallen rock. XII-You don't want to know what's here. You'll find out later.
