Any tips for beating Rufus and Dark Nation?

  • 1 of 7: Kill the panther guardian first, then go after the boss.
  • 2 of 7: Because the panther casts Barrier on Rufus, you have to use magic to inflict damage.
  • 3 of 7: He can only hurt you with his shotgun, so don't worry about healing yourself after each round.
  • 4 of 7: Remember, you can only use Materia your other members didn't take with them.
  • 5 of 7: So, if you don't have what you wanted, you should have had Tifa tell Aeris before the others went downstairs to leave behind some materia.
  • 6 of 7: Eventually, when you beat Rufus, he'll escape into a helicopter.
