1 of 8: You need something long enough for her to grab onto.
2 of 8: Your fishing pole would be ideal, but it's too thin and flimsy.
3 of 8: And the scarf is too short.
4 of 8: The thing you need is close by, however.
5 of 8: As the character in the Wizard of Oz said, "It's hard to think with a pole stuck up your back."
6 of 8: Go down the other path to the scarecrow.
7 of 8: Disassemble him, using the saw you got from the cemetery shed. (Or teleport there and back, if you didn't get it.)
8 of 8: Take the pole and another birds machine, then use the pole on Alicia.
