1 of 4: Well, it may not seem so at first, but yes.
2 of 4: You're looking for background on the man who hired you.
3 of 4: Using the arrows, walk around the room (and up the stairs as well), and every time the close-up icon appears on the screen, press the spacebar to zoom in and interact with the mouse. To get out of a close-up, move the mouse to the bottom of the screen till the minus sign appears and click; you can also press the spacebar again.
4 of 4: Things to look at include paintings, a photo album, and diplomas and such on the walls. One of the doors up the sweeping stairs has an "open" icon but it doesn't actually open; this means you'll need to find a key elsewhere before you can get in.
