3 of 5: That was a psychic flashback. Joseph is apparently a psychic detective, which must save a lot on research.
4 of 5: In this case, it was an insight into the death of Mary-Rose, the woman in the picture.
5 of 5: There are a lot of these flashbacks to collect. They seem to be clips from Hitchcock movies, so they're sometimes only marginally applicable to this story.
