Did he just say "pleonasm"?
What he actually said was, "What, a brainless actor sounds too much like a dead pleonasm to you?" Which sounds more meaningless than it is, since a pleonasm is a redundant phrase. But why dead, I'm not sure. Translation difficulties, perhaps?
