Full Moon in San Francisco Hints
How can I decipher the scrolls?
1 of 5: Instead of swapping letters for letters, this puzzle uses numbers and other keyboard symbols. Otherwise the method is the same as for any cryptogram.
2 of 5: You are not able to "Check" it until you have plugged in a letter for all 26 spots. Each letter of the alphabet is used only once. To keep yourself straight, it will help to work it out on paper as you go.
3 of 5: You can "Open Scroll 1" as often as you want. Each time you do, some of the words are readable before the coding finishes. Click on the "Slow it down" button to make it easier.
4 of 5: See if you can read the whole first line, opening Scroll 1 as often as it takes to write down all of the words. After you have the first line recorded, look at the way it looks after the coding is finished. Then, go through the words and assign numbers and symbols to them.
5 of 5: Continue in the same manner for the second line, the third and so on. After awhile you will be able to figure out which letters you lack and can fill in your blanks.
