Exploring
The Forgotten tells a story, which develops as the game progresses. In order to experience the full story, careful exploration is necessary. Examine each location thoroughly, open containers, and look closely at objects. Take notes and save often.
When exploring the game, keep in mind that this game is intended to be the first in a series of games. There may be puzzles which are not solvable within the scope of this game but will be solvable within a later game.
Make sure to hold the mouse still when clicking the mouse button. Any movement will make the program ignore the click.
Also, keep in mind, the active cursor usually remains the same. On occasion, it may be unclear whether the active cursor is making it possible to interact with an object, or to allow travel to another location.
