How does the elevator work?

  • 1 of 7: Pull the lever to call the elevator to your floor and get inside.
  • 2 of 7: Similar to hotels today, guests must have access to their floor as well as their room.  They are issued keys for both.
  • 3 of 7: Have you found a floor key?
  • 4 of 7: Insert a floor key into its proper slot and it will turn.
  • 5 of 7: Below and to the right of the key panel is a handle.  Pull it.
  • 6 of 7: You do not need to remove the floor key.  It is okay to leave it there.
  • 7 of 7: To go to another floor for which you have already inserted a key, click on the key to select that floor and pull the handle.
