QuickTime Issues
The Forgotten 1 comes with a version of QuickTime that it requires to run the game smoothly. If you have other versions already installed on your system, there may be enough conflict to cause unexpected screen flickers, blank screens, or even a "freeze" of your system. To solve this problem, uninstall the game and then uninstall all versions of QuickTime.
If you use Windows 95 or Windows 98, uninstall The Forgotten using Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. If QuickTime is shown in the Uninstall menu, select each version and uninstall it. Once you've uninstalled both The Forgotten 1 and Quicktime, reboot your computer and reinstall the game and the QuickTime version that it requires.
Some other programs may require a newer version of Quicktime than is used by The Forgotten 1. If, after doing all of the above, you start to experience problems with other programs that were working before, you may need to uninstall The Forgotten 1 and Quicktime and reinstall the programs that have stopped working.
