Flight of the Amazon Queen Hints

What do I do with the statue on the altar?

  • 1 of 12: First, you need to be on the same level, instead of the walkway above it.
  • 2 of 12: You get there by activating the statue between the waterfalls.
  • 3 of 12: Now you need a key to put in the hole in the statue's chest.
  • 4 of 12: The key comes in two parts.
  • 5 of 12: Other people have beaten you to finding the parts.
  • 6 of 12: One of those people lies dead nearby.  You can find him by going to the right from the junction room, just past the room where the snake was.
  • 7 of 12: Ian has the other part.
  • 8 of 12: Once Ian is freed, he soon meets an untimely demise.
  • 9 of 12: Go back to where you found the stone disc, and search Ian's corpse.
  • 10 of 12: Now you need a way to stick the two pieces together.
  • 11 of 12: Use some of the sap.  (If you're far away from the tree, you can use the knife to scrape the sap off the bat.)
  • 12 of 12: Stick the sap on one piece, then combine the two pieces.  Now put the reassembled stone key into the hole in the statue's chest.
