The Vikings now intend to sacrifice Gilbert. How can I foil this?
1 of 3: OK, Gilbert's not going to be enslaved -- but to be sacrificed to the Vikings' ancient gods by being thrown over the cliff of death is even worse! His slave market certificate (of participation) won't stop *that*!
2 of 3: When Gilbert talked to the Viking ship painter, he laughed and told him that the only way for a slave to escape from the village would be for him to fly over the mountains like a bird.
Gilbert really takes this seriously though! Perhaps???
