Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned Hints
What is the solution to the Taurus riddle?
of 17: The key word in this riddle seems to be "fruit".
of 17: You're going to have to look somewhere else to find out exactly what kind of fruit.
of 17: By now, you should have analyzed the parchments that Gabriel found in Lady Howard and Estelle's room.
of 17: One of the parchments had some hidden text. If you don't have that text already, go back and analyze parchment #2 and select the "Extract Text" function.
of 17: Then, translate that text from French, and Grace will write it down.
of 17: It talks about "pommes bleus".
of 17: You may remember having heard about "pommes bleus" earlier.
of 17: The woman at Chateau de Serres was talking about them.
of 17: So Chateau de Serres is probably an important map point. But you still need to find the other point(s) in this riddle.
of 17: Also note that Taurus talks about separating the fruit from the chaff.
of 17: Pay close attention to the words in the "pommes bleus" text near where the pommes are mentioned.
of 17: The text mentions something about "to the meridian."
of 17: That's the key to solving this riddle.
of 17: You've already found something that intersects the meridian.
of 17: Connect Chateau de Serres to the intersection of the meridian line and the line between Rennes-le-Chateau and Chateau de Blanchefort. That is, add those two points on the map, and then analyze them.
of 17: Now, you can rotate the square. Click on it to make it change color, and then move the cursor around until you see the "rotate" icon. Once you see that icon, click and drag the square into place.
of 17: You will have solved the riddle once you've rotated the square so that it touches the line you just drew.
