Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned Hints
What is the solution to the Virgo riddle?
of 21: Virgo talks about the Temple of Solomon.
of 21: Search in SIDNEY to learn about the Temple of Solomon, if you haven't done so already.
of 21: Pay attention to the shape of the Temple of Solomon.
of 21: It's a rectangle that's four times longer than it is wide.
of 21: The riddle also mentions the sixteen that form the center.
of 21: Maybe it's talking about the squares of the chessboard.
of 21: Think about how to make something the shape of the Temple of Solomon, using exactly 16 squares.
of 21: A rectangle that's 2 squares wide and 8 long would be the same shape as the Temple of Solomon.
of 21: But you still need to figure out which direction the rectangle is pointing.
of 21: Now all you need to do is to figure out where that scene takes place.
of 21: Try the center.
of 21: Go to L'Ermitage, and use the postcard on the cave to prove this to yourself.
of 21: Now, do what St. Paul is doing.
of 21: Click on the cave and point.
of 21: St. Paul is basically pointing to the northeast.
of 21: So should the rectangle.
of 21: Draw a 2x8 rectangle that runs northeast to southwest through L'Ermitage. To do this, select "Add Points" and then click on the four corners of the rectangle. Remember that the rectangle should go in the center of the chessboard -- down the middle two columns, so to speak. Once you've selected the points, start your analysis to draw the rectangle on the map.
