Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned Hints
What am I supposed to do during this time block?
of 9: You don't really know anything about the area, so you might as well look around and talk to people to see what you can find.
of 9: Most of the required actions in this time block in some way involve talking to someone -- but some dialogue options will only appear once you have seen something or talked to someone else.
of 9: Start by heading into the dining room on the first floor of the hotel to talk to Mosely. Doing this will let you talk to people about the tour group.
of 9: Read the guest book at the front desk to find out when everyone checked into the hotel.
of 9: Also look at both the "Holy Grail" and "San Greal" books in the window of the bookshop outside the hotel. You will get a hint about what one of the kidnappers said on the train and you now can talk to characters about the Holy Grail.
of 9: With these two clues, you can talk to Jean (the hotel desk clerk), Emilio Baza (one of the guests in the lobby), Madeline Buthane (the tour guide outside the hotel), Madame Girard (the museum worker), and the two women in the museum display room.
of 9: Go over all the possible topics -- including the tour, check-in times and the Holy Grail, when these topics are available -- and you'll have talked to everyone in Rennes-le-Chateau whom you need to talk to.
of 9: But you can still talk to someone outside of Rennes-le-Chateau.
