How can I get past that thing on the right side of the face screen?

  • 1 of 10: You'll need to get it out of its hole first.
  • 2 of 10: The name of one of the items shows that it's made to bring the thing out.
  • 3 of 10: It's the bait.  Drop it just near the thing's home.  You can find the bait in the tower just to the right of the door from which you entered.
  • 4 of 10: Now you need to find something that will make the troll go away.
  • 5 of 10: That troll is highly allergic to water.
  • 6 of 10: Do you remember what happened when you read that book to the head?
  • 7 of 10: It laughed so hard that it cried.
  • 8 of 10: Try capturing some of those tears.
  • 9 of 10: Drop the bowl under the head and then read into its ear.  The bowl will then be called "tears."
  • 10 of 10: Just throw the tears on the troll and you can go on to the next scene. You'll need the "catapult" that the troll was holding.
