Goblins Quest 3 Hints
Read this first: What's the basic idea behind the catapult?
of 11: You can control the length of the catapult arm with the "catapult controls" (not the loader controls).
of 11: There are three different positions -- I'll call them "near" (for the shortest arm length), "middle" (for the medium arm length), and "far" (longest arm).
of 11: The catapult can only be loaded when it's in the middle position. If you want to put something or someone on top of the catapult, you first need to use the controls to get the arm into that position.
of 11: If you want to put a rock on the catapult, use the loader controls.
of 11: You can only get either Ooya or Blount to get on the catapult. Take a look at how the loader controls operate to figure out what to do.
of 11: Stand on the shovel with the appropriate character to put him on the arm.
of 11: To activate the catapult, you need to give Colossus a reason to think he should use it. He's the one with the real controls.
of 11: Colossus is looking for any ships that might be passing by, if you don't remember him from the start of the game.
of 11: Ooya can make a ship appear by casting a spell on the painting.
of 11: And Blount can do it by looking through the telescope.
of 11: Obviously, if you need one character to be standing on the arm, you must use the other to launch him. Otherwise, either character can take the appropriate action to start a launch.
