About the Game:
Gold Rush was written by Doug and Ken Macneill and developed by Sierra Online in 1988.  It was one of the last games (perhaps the last?) written with the AGI interface.  It was not a very profitable game for Sierra and it was discontinued.  Included in the box was a copy of California Gold, a historical reference to the gold rush of 1848.
