How do I know when it's time to leave Independence?
1 of 8: Have you been watching the plains?
2 of 8: The plains are a screen north of Captain Buddy.
3 of 8: You have to walk behind the wagon to get there.
4 of 8: When you first get there, you'll notice that the plains are all muddy and brown.
5 of 8: If you wait, the mud will start to dry up.
6 of 8: If you wait long enough, the whole prairie will be green.
7 of 8: If you wait until the whole prairie is green, then you've waited too long.
8 of 8: Keep looking at the plains. When it says that the mud is starting to dry, go talk to Captain Buddy.
