How do I avoid the quicksand?
1 of 3: Most of the water isn't quicksand. Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing which parts are until you step in it.
2 of 3: You'll have to save and restore often. There is only one path through the water, and it's a matter of trial and error till you find it.
3 of 3: Walk straight out from the left bank. Go halfway across the screen and stop. Go just a hair's breadth north. Then go east and right up the bank. If you miss it, keep trying.
