Gothic 3 Hints

Rescue a Silden slave from the wilderness.

  • 1 of 10: Inog, whose hut is fairly near the orc leader's compound in town, will say that there are escaped slaves hiding in the woods to the north, and that they should be taken to Freman at Anog's rebel camp.
  • 2 of 10: Freman is in a hut near the NW end of Anog's camp. Talk to him to learn that he'll pay 100 gold for each escaped slave that you bring to him.
  • 3 of 10: There are several escaped slaves camped out not too far away.
  • 4 of 10: There are five escaped slaves in all, and you'll need to escort all of them back to Freman.
  • 5 of 10: TIP: First, run around and kill all of the wild critters that are near the three camps.
  • 6 of 10: When you're ready to go, it's easiest to escort all five slaves at once so that you won't have to make more than one trip.
  • 7 of 10: Talk to all five of the slaves and get them to follow you, then return to Freman's hut by reversing the route you used to get from there to the main slave camp.
  • 8 of 10: Thankfully, you don't have to go slow and make sure all the slaves keep up with you. You can run ahead as fast as you want to, and as long as none of the slaves get killed by critters, you'll be able to turn them all over to Freman when you talk to him, even if they were left way behind.
  • 9 of 10: You'll get 100 gold, 500 XP, and one Rebel rep point for every escaped slave you turn over to Freman. (Except that one slave gets you an extra 100 gold for some reason.)
  • 10 of 10: TIP: If you run ahead of the slaves fast enough, you can talk to Freman about all of them and then run back and kill them all before they come near the rebel guards and camps. That way you can easily finish the "Kill the slaves who escaped from Silden" mission, too.
