Gothic 3 Hints

Kill the druid hunting party from Geldern.

  • 1 of 8: Talk to Runak to get this mission.
  • 2 of 8: He's wanting you to kill off the orc party that's camped nearby.
  • 3 of 8: See the "Find the orcs' druid search party" mission for details on finding them.
  • 4 of 8: You can weaken the orc party by leading nearby creatures (such the shadowbeats on the hill to the west) to them before you start attacking them.
  • 5 of 8: Then quickly finish off the remaining orcs, using ranged attacks whenever you can, and not forgetting the killing blow routine if you're using a sword.
  • 6 of 8: When the last orc dies, you'll get 1500 XP and 10 Ranger rep points.
  • 7 of 8: Report success to Runak to get three mana potions and 1000 XP.
  • 8 of 8: NOTE: You can still do Ballock's "Kill the druid Runak" mission to get the XP and the rep points -- you just can't report back to Ballock for a reward.
