Gothic 3 Hints

Karlen the paladin shows you the desert.

  • 1 of 6: You're supposed to be able to get this mission from Karlen right after finishing "The renegade paladin at the pass to Varant must die."
  • 2 of 6: When you report Kurt's death to him, Karlen should immediately volunteer to show you the desert.
  • 3 of 6: If he doesn't, it may have something to do with the Nemora mission "A new man for Nemora." Try doing Karlen's missions before you get that one.
  • 4 of 6: Tell Karlen to go ahead and show you the desert, then follow him along.
  • 5 of 6: After you thrash one last bandit camp, you'll come to an area with a great view of the desert.
  • 6 of 6: Talk to Karlen there to finish up and get 500 XP.
