Gothic 3 Hints
Looking for ore with Larson.
1 of 8: When you start on the Hammer Clan's "Approval from the ore smelters" mission, Larson will head off for a campfire that's a bit east of the Hammer Clan village.
2 of 8: If Larson isn't at the campfire yet, he must still be en route. Go do something else, and then check back at the campfire later on.
3 of 8: This may take a *very* long time, and sleeping in a bed for a few game days doesn't seem to help much. You may have to go to the Wolf Clan village and see if you can find him on the path leading away from it.
4 of 8: Unfortunately, he doesn't always go the same way around the mountains. Due to this, it would probably be best to teleport to the Wolf Clan as soon as you get the approval mission from Ingvar and then find Larson as he leaves town.
5 of 8: Wherever you find him, talk to him to start on this mission.
6 of 8: Follow him along as he leads you to some ore veins that are near the above-mentioned campfire.
7 of 8: Talk to him when you arrive to get 3250 XP, 10 Wolf Clan rep points, three Nordmar rep points, and Smithing +1.
8 of 8: TIP: After Larson starts hacking away at an ore vein, beat him up to get his valuable battle axe plus access to the ore vein he's working on.
