How can I get Kalan's approval?

  • 1 of 6: When you start on Ingvar's approval mission, Kalan will head off for a spot with ore veins that's near the Fire Clan village.
  • 2 of 6: After you kill off the orcs blocking the entrance to the ore site, go to the back where the veins are.
  • 3 of 6: If Kalan isn't there, he must still be en route. Go do something else, and then check back at the ore site later on.
  • 4 of 6: When you find him there, talk to him to get his approval.
  • 5 of 6: NOTE: He mentions hiding some hammer of his in the bushes nearby, but you don't have to find it.
  • 6 of 6: TIP: You don't actually have to kill the orcs to get Kalan's approval -- you just have to talk to him. You could teleport to the Fire Clan village right after getting the approval mission from Ingvar and catch Kalan before he leaves town. Or you could drop straight down to him (as detailed in the above directions for finding him), talk to him, and then teleport away.
