Gothic 3 Hints
Summoned Ally Notes
1 of 6: Summoned allies are very useful if not essential when you're fighting multiple magic-using opponents. Get them to attack your summoned ally while you fireball them or close to melee range.
2 of 6: Summoned allies will be hostile to everyone but you and your current henchman. They'll attack (and be attacked by) anyone else, including rebels, orcs, etc. You don't want to have a summoned ally with you when you go near anyone you don't want to kill.
3 of 6: You can talk to an ally and tell him to "go back" (which means "die on the spot") or to wait where he is.
4 of 6: If you're wanting to liberate a city or clear out a large part of it, you can summon a demon or golem and let it fight the residents. As long as you don't attack them, they won't turn hostile to you. When your summoned ally is killed, just summon another one. Repeat that until the place is sufficiently weakened for you to strike.
5 of 6: If you use a teleporter stone when a summoned ally is with you, it'll immediately die. The same happens if you summon a new ally.
6 of 6: You can get a demon sword from a demon by telling it to "go back" and then looting its body. It's really a useless item, though, since it requires a Strength of 666 to use, and it sells for only one gold.
