2 of 8: He'll say "follow me" when you tell him you want to kill the demon in Gotha with him, but he'll just keep sitting there.
3 of 8: However, he'll jump up and come after you when you to go Gotha's castle.
4 of 8: To keep him from getting killed, it's best to kill the demon yourself. See the main mission "Find the divine ring of life!" for all the details on how to do that.
5 of 8: Or you could finish off all of the undead in the castle area yourself before getting this mission.
6 of 8: One thing that'll really help with that is to first kill off the undead that rush you as you stand at the castle gate, then go through the gate, turn left, and run up the stairs that get you onto the castle wall. The demon can't follow you up there, and you can snipe at the remaining undead, or let them follow you up there so you can slash them.
7 of 8: Once everything but the demon is dead, go talk to Gorn to get this mission, then run back to the castle gate and start hitting the demon with arrows or spells.
8 of 8: After it's dead, wait for Gorn to run to the approximate center of the area and stop, then talk to him to get 1000 XP.
