1 of 3: To find Gnar, go to the three-way path split that's just NE of town and head down the fenced-in path that leads to the castle.
2 of 3: If you've paid Connor in his shop near Faring's lower (SE) exit for info on Gnar, you'll know that he wants wolfskins, and can ask him about that.
3 of 3: Get him 20 wolfskins in order to get 2000 XP and four Faring rep points.
