Gothic 3 Hints

Sobota wants Thorek's slave back.

  • 1 of 7: Keep talking to Sobota after getting the "Sobota wants Dan's slave back" mission to get this one.
  • 2 of 7: Go to Thorek's nearby smith shop and talk to his slave.
  • 3 of 7: Tell him to follow you, then head back to Sobota's room.
  • 4 of 7: Talk to Sobota and tell him the slave is now his again to get your reward of 1000 gold, 1000 XP, and a Hashishin rep point.
  • 5 of 7: Sounds easy, right? The catch is that the next time you go near Thorek, he'll be mad about you taking his slave. (Note that this may happen while you're escorting the slave if you have to pass near Thorek.)
  • 6 of 7: You can either pay him 1000 gold, do the "Thorek wants magic ore for his smithy" mission, or fight him.
  • 7 of 7: No one will help him, not even the other orcs in his shop, so beating up on him is probably the best option. (Though you can get a lot more XP by doing the ore mission.)
