How can I get to Varant?

  • 1 of 13: There are a couple of different ways.
  • 2 of 13: You could go down to the beach next to Cape Dun and swim straight south to reach a shore on Varant that you can get onto.
  • 3 of 13: However, that would put you in a rather wild area infested with hostile orcs and such. You can make it safely to Bakaresh, but it's a difficult journey.
  • 4 of 13: A somewhat safer route to Varant starts at Trelis.
  • 5 of 13: Go to the devastated farm west of Trelis, then find the road just east of that.
  • 6 of 13: Go south along the road until you come to a path split, then take the road that heads west.
  • 7 of 13: You'll soon pass a Hashishin tent surrounded by snappers.
  • 8 of 13: Keep going along the road until you reach a large bandit camp at a bend in the road.
  • 9 of 13: Soon after that, you'll come across a second bandit camp in a large nook off to the side of the road.
  • 10 of 13: NOTE: Doing the Nemora mission "The renegade paladin at the pass to Varant must die" will get you escorted to this point.
  • 11 of 13: A short path east of that will lead you down to a third bandit camp.
  • 12 of 13: SE of that camp is a large opening in the rock that leads to a plateau overlooking the desert, and a path leading down to it.
  • 13 of 13: As you step onto the sand at the small camp near Braga, you'll be credited for reaching Varant.
