Gothic 3 Hints

Debt and debility.

  • 1 of 11: You can get this mission after finishing the "Orknarok the temple slave" one.
  • 2 of 11: Masil will give you a magic ore blank and tell you to sell it to pay off his three promissory notes.
  • 3 of 11: Unfortunately, selling the ore blank won't come even close to covering the promissory notes, so keep ahold of it.
  • 4 of 11: Hector, who's at the building to the right of the town's north exit, has one of the promissory notes.
  • 5 of 11: You'll have to pay him 1400 gold for it.
  • 6 of 11: Ilja, who's a couple of buildings left of the town's north exit, is willing to trade his promissory note for a magic ore blank.
  • 7 of 11: You should take him up on that offer since the only alternative is to pay him 2000 gold for the note.
  • 8 of 11: The third promissory note is held by Ramon in his house a bit NE of the town's west exit.
  • 9 of 11: Fortunately, he'll just hand the thing over without demanding anything in return.
  • 10 of 11: Once you have all three notes, go give them to Masil to get 200 gold and 1500 XP.
  • 11 of 11: Then ask him for the fire chalice he has to get it and 500 XP.
