How can I get to Nordmar from Faring?

  • 1 of 8: At the three-way path split just NE of town, go up the NE path.
  • 2 of 8: Unfortunately, a small structure at the entrance to the pass is guarded by orcs, and they won't let you by without a fight unless you do certain Faring Missions.
  • 3 of 8: Once they're dead or okay with you going past, you have two routes you can take to get to Nordmar.
  • 4 of 8: On one route, you head up the stairs that lead to the second floor of the wooden structure, then cross a stone bridge that leads across to a path.
  • 5 of 8: Follow the path as it goes up the side of the mountain and to a small flat-ish area with two golems stomping around in it. From there, find the partly hidden path that leads NW from the golems' area and follow it to reach a large cave tunnel. (Ignore the other passage that's to the left of the cave tunnel entrance -- it just leads to some otherwise-inaccessible areas in Myrtana.)
  • 6 of 8: When you emerge from the tunnel's other end, follow the narrow path along to very quickly reach the frozen wastes of Nordmar.
  • 7 of 8: On the other route, you don't climb any stairs in the wooden structure, but instead find the start of the winding path that's just to the right (north) of the entrance guarded by Mojok.
  • 8 of 8: Follow it along until you reach Rathgar's camp, then keep following it up a small slope just to the north to reach the snowy wastes.
